The countdown has officially begun for our first family vacation! We leave this weekend for a 7-day cruise with the kids and I won’t lie – I am both excited and nervous! Whoever has tips for travelling with kids, please share!
I’ve been attempting to pack “lightly” for four without much luck… If you’re anything like me, you have a hard time parting with your closet – and an even harder time parting with your beauty products! Below is a list of my beauty must-have’s when I travel. The Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer is a great moisturizer for warmer climates and offers light coverage with SPF. I also love sheet masks when I travel. 20 minutes and my skin feels super luxurious!
What are your favourite beauty products for traveling? I’d love to know!
La Prairie’s Sun Emulsion SPF 30 was my fave beauty product for the longest time – it was hands down the best SPF moisturizer around. They discontinued it about 2 years ago and I’ve been on the search for a replacement every since. Lancôme’s Bienfait is a close runner-up. It gives me the protection I need and doesn’t leave a cakey residue on my skin like most sunscreens.
This is one of my favourite products for travelling. It is a lightweight moisturizer that offers a light coverage which lets me swap out my everyday foundation.
The Naked Palette is my usual go-to at home since I love having a selection of colours to choose from. However, since the bit too big to travel with, I’ve started using these eye colour sticks. They go on smooth and blend really well for a smokey look. Plum is my favourite.
Hands down, best hand cream ever! Shea butter keeps my hands super smooth and hydrated for hours. Their foot cream is equally amazing!
Who can resist a lipstick called Kissing? Penelope Pink is the perfect neutral with just a touch of pink and Velvet Underground is a bold fuchsia for evening. These lipsticks leave a matte finish without drying out your lips
Blush is an instant pick-me-up! Super Orgasm by NARS is a beautiful shimmery mixture of coral and pinks that look great on every skin type.
Plane rides and hotel rooms always dry out my skin. I discovered sheet masks about 10 years ago on my first trip to Japan and have been addicted ever since! If you haven’t tried them yet, they are a must! I swear they are absolutely magical!
The smell of this reminds me of vacation.
Dry shampoo has got to be the best invention ever! Not only for travelling, but for motherhood! Drybar
These polishes are a great price and are super fast drying!
