Happy Thursday Everyone! I just got back from a family vacation in Jamaica and am slowly getting back into the daily grind. I had so many questions all of you who were following along on Instastories that I wanted to share a round-up of some of my favorite beauty products for travelling! (I’ll do a round-up of outfits as well next week!).
I’ve shared my top 5 beauty products I never leave home without. Especially for a tropical vacation. The humid weather and my oily skin usually work against each other, but through the years, I have found some great products that keep my skin healthy (and shine free) while I travel.
What are some of your beauty must have’s while travelling?
This stuff is magical! I picked it up last minute before our trip to Jamaica and I love it! The one SPF moisturizer that I had been using forever was discontinued last year and I have been on the search every since… This Daily Correct CC Cream is a one-stop shop. It is a lightweight, medium coverage tinted moisturizer that contains SPF35! BEST PART – it stays put for 12+ hours in hot, humid weather!
If a lipstick can handle endless cups of coffee, kisses for my babes, swimming in the ocean AND still look great by the end of the day – it’s a keeper! This lip gloss goes on matte but keeps your lips from feeling dry. It has the best staying power I’ve ever seen and it’s under $10. My fave two colors are Romantic and Lover.
This blush is my go-to for the evening when I want to have more of a polished look. Shadore is the perfect coral-pink shade that gives the perfect glow for a tropical getaway!
If you’re like me and have oily skin, the setting spray is heaven sent! It saved me from having to touch up through the day. It is a staple beauty item for me during the summer months and especially on vacations.
Beaching all day? I’ve been using this mineral brush-on SPF30 for the last 5 years and I am still obsessed. The easy to use applicator distributes an even amount of powder to the surface of the brush and is a great way to reapply sunscreen without ruining your makeup. There are a few companies who make a similar product but I find this applicator brush to be the best!
