You… Me… PJ’s… Pizza… Netflix… We’re all guilty of it right? These days, everyone is busy. Between work, family and social commitments, there’s hardly enough time to even squeeze in an hour of Netflix let alone carve out a significant amount of time to spend with your significant other.
B and I have made it a priority to plan a date night once a month. To make sure that B leaves work when he is actually supposed to and makes it home on time for these dates, I picked up this eco-chic (B’s description) watch for him! Made from a combination of zebrawood and dark sandalwood, this watch has become a conversation piece for B.
If you’re looking for unique gift for your significant other, you’re in luck. I’ve teamed up with JORD Watches to give one lucky With Mable reader a $100 e-giftcard to use towards a watch of their own. Be sure to check out their beautiful selection of both men’s and women’s watches and click the link the below to enter!

P.S. Here are some of our favorite date night restaurants. Be sure to check them out and let me know of your fave date night spots!
B and I had our first date at Pho Xic Lo. Since then, we’ve made it a tradition to stop in for a our favorite pho bowl (#11 for me and #41 for B) once a month. For those of you unfamiliar with pho, it a type of Vietnamese soup, typically made from beef stock and spices to which rice noodles and thinly sliced beef or chicken are added – we love it!
With their craft cocktails and small plates meant for sharing, F & B’s intimate atmosphere is the perfect place for a romantic date night. Their seasonal menu ensures that something new and delicious is always on the menu – our current favorites are their brussel sprouts, shrimp baos and bone marrow. If you haven’t checked them out yet, be sure to make a reservation this weekend!
The great part about living in a border city is having the opportunity to enjoy all the amazing restaurants that have been popping up in Detroit. Selden Standard opened back in 2015 and still remains one of favorite eats South of the border. Their weekend brunch menu is heavenly and the ever-changing dinner menu never disappoints. If you’re lucky enough to snag a seat by at the chef’s table, be prepared to be wined and dined!
